These are my poi "tutorial" pages. I've got my own set of beliefs about poi, and these are, by no means, they way that things are in the world of poi spinning. There’s a thousand different names for poi techniques, a thousand different ways to describe them and much, much more going on than what I deal with here. These pages are suitable for people who want to learn a little poi, but more importantly, for those who are out to enjoy themselves. I'm afraid you wont be able to win any poi discussions with what you find here, you'll probably end up just making it even more confusing. The tutorials I've made have somewhat vague descriptions. In the beginning, when I was just starting off, I learnt most of what I know through the internet. There wasn’t really that many people in my area who were interested in it back then. I've always found it next to impossible to decipher a poi move from text off the internet, I think it's even harder to describe a poi move in text. But I did find a few small animations and they helped to no end. So, I've done the same, except no funny techy language that I don’t understand myself. Just take a peak at the file and hopefully it will help you to figure out something you didn’t know before. As a word of advise, I’d say learn a few individual moves and then spend the rest of the time linking stuff together, that’s where the really fun starts, not the actual movement itself, but the links in between. But most importantly, have fun. That’s what it's all about. Well that’s it, see you around, Mot.
